A world-famous AIDS expert, Dr.Brendan Bain MD, was FIRED from his professorship at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica after testifying in court that homosexual behavior is a threat to public health. The professor was dismissed last Tuesday after over 30 homosexual activist groups called for his removal because of the testimony he provided in court back in 2010 in defense of Sodomy Ban in Belize. Belize is a country on the northeastern coast of Central America.
“As a physician and Public Health practitioner, one of my responsibilities is to assess behaviors for their health and well being,” Bain wrote at the time. “When something is beneficial, such as exercise, good nutrition, or adequate sleep, it is my duty to recommend it. Likewise, when something is harmful, such as smoking, overeating, alcohol, or drug abuse, and unsafe sexual behavior, it is my duty to discourage it.”
“Another of my responsibilities as a Public Health practitioner is to assess the cost of behavior, not just to the individual ‘actor,’ but also to the community,” Bain wrote. “There are instances in which private behaviors result in considerable public cost due to illness, with accompanying loss of productivity and social disruption and the prospect of premature death.”
The professor added that "some behaviors of Gay people could lead to possible premature death ... and one of those behaviors is anal intercourse. This significantly increases the risk of HIV/AIDS, but other STDs and cancer as well".
The data he shared with the court, which was gathered from various studies conducted from around the world showed that sexually active gay men contracted AIDS at approximately 40 times the rate of other groups.
The data, presented at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 2010 National STD Prevention Conference, also found that the rate of new HIV diagnoses among men who have sex with men (MSM) is more than 44 times that of other men and more than 40 times that of women.
