Its the signature project of JCI Nalukody for the year 2018. With this we tried to cater the different needs of differently abled children around.(the basic nature of these children are they are poor in their brain work for example a person with the age of 18 may show the attitude and actions of a 5 year old boy. But still they are having some capabilities and they are trained and getting into the main streams of life to manage their life of their own atleast)

On this project we identified children around us with such a nature and identified 2 schools giving training to these kids.. One is Thiruhridaya Nivas, Parel, Changanacherry, Kottayam Disctrict, Kerala and another one is Jeevodaya, Kurumpanadom. Also we identified children around us who are not affiliated to these schools and learning from their own houses. These two school children are participating in this function. Approximate 200 children.

Empower 2018 Event September 14, 2018 10 PM to 12.30 PM

• Based on this Project we initiated to construct a sensory room (a colourful, coloured and lighted sound effects room which will accelerate their senses.) The cost is 16 lakhs. We documented the same in a professional way with Cochin Shipyard. They approved the project and the construction will start soon. We make a symbolic inauguration of the construction of this sensory room during this function.

• We arrange a gathering of these children on this day and give them gifts@1000. The total cost for us is 2 lakhs, which was shared by our good friends. Also we bring their parents on this function to inspire them their great life for these kids. Also we recognize these teachers on this function by you with a memento and a gift. Also we invited some well wishers to this function and we wind up the function with Lunch.

• Also we recognize our Chapter Past President JFM Litto K Thomas of our chapter who participated all the National Conferences since we started our chapter in the year 2010

• Also we recognize Cochin Shipyard Director cum Audit Chairman in this function for
approving our project.
